Chiropractic

 

Chiropractors are musculoskeletal experts concerned with conservative care of the human body. They are concerned with all things spine, muscle, ligament and neurological throughout the body. Whether an individuals issues are major or minor it is our role to diagnose and help foster resolution to individuals problems of pain, discomfort, or loss of function in the body. One of the methods of treatment that set chiropractors apart from other practitioners is our use of the chiropractic adjustment. It is a gentle controlled and directed movement of a spinal joint to help restore range of motion. It administers a high dose of mechanical input to help override pain signals and neuromodulate the spine.


Soft Tissue Techniques

 

Manual muscle techniques are employed by Chiropractors to lengthen and release contracted muscle and tissue. Soft tissue techniques such as pin and stretch or Active Release, cupping, flexion distraction are effective ways of getting the body moving and assist in a Chiropractic treatment .


Rehabilitation Exercises

 

Rehabilitation of muscles and neurological motor patterns is an essential part of most treatment and a crucial part of recovery. Subsequent with manual manipulation or by itself, strengthening injured areas has high levels of evidence for symptomatic relief.
